Home Ski Shop

I used to have a pretty good storage and ski wax set up behind the Xterra.  The recent replacement of the Armada (and the additional extra feet in vehicle length) brought a consequence of losing that area as you can see below:

Now that Mnt. Bike season is over I stored the 4 bikes in the basement freeing up the third garage spot.  This gave me the space but I needed to come up with a good way to wax the skis and store them.
I happened to have a couple extra saw horses in the garage and a small amount of extra wood.  I ran up to Lowes purchased a cement board(hot ski wax, ptex on fire, better option than plywood) and some hangers.
I had everything I needed to start and this was the result:
Just a couple old saw horses and some extra wood to start
 Hangers added for ski storage
Cement Board, for the top surface.  More fireproof than wood.  Ptex on fire hot iron etc.

I mounted vices to hold the skis

A spot for all the required tools for ski waxing:
 Here it is!

I am pretty happy how it turned out and cant wait to see it in action this ski season!
